Eli on verge of extension?
The Nationalfootballpost.com is reporting that the Giants and quarterback Eli Manning are closing in on a contract extension that would make him one of the NFL's highest paid players. The website reported that a deal could be announced as soon as next week.
The Giants typically don't comment on contracts until they are completed, although we'll see if there's anything going on. It has long been expected the Giants would negotiate an extension in Manning's deal before next season.

That's a waste of $$$. Eli couldn't throw a spiral against the Eagles.
Garafolo says this is pure fiction.
Eli Manning is at best, a slightly above average quarterback. I do not see him ever leading the team back into the SB.
