Make your picks for Championship Weekend

Time for Round 3 of the second annual Glauber Nation Playoff Picks contest.
We go straight up: Iggles-Cardinals and Ravens-Stillers.
Here's a look at the current standings. There is currently a five-way tie for first. Thrilling stuff.
Looks like this one will go down to the wire and won't be decided until Feb. 1 in Tampa.
fyi: Mantz is on a roll so far, going 7-1 against the spread, fearing that federal authorities will be tracking his every move.
Also, Mantz has a somewhat troubling blog post about the state of newspapers vis-a-vis the Internet. According to a new survey, more people get their news from the Internet than newspapers. It's now 40 percent, compared to just 24 percent in September, 2007.
I'd be curious to see if, of that 40 percent, just how many got their Internet news from Internet sites of newspapers.
In the meantime, I haven't heard whether authorities in Tampa have captured the feces-throwing monkey that recently escaped captivity.

Don't you mean Stillers/Cardinals?
Ravens.
Eagles.
In honor of some dead birds and one helluva flyer of big machines that can float for awhile and all the people that came to the rescue.
Bob has had to CONTACT a fed agency due to threats.
He has not been contacted by them...
"Also, Mantz has a somewhat troubling blog post about the state of newspapers vis-a-vis the Internet. "
That's my post.
"I'd be curious to see if, of that 40 percent, just how many got their Internet news from Internet sites of newspapers. "
Good point. I'd like to know as well.
These two games couldn't be more different.
Stillers over Ravens in a game that football purists will love and the casual fan will despise. I honestly think we could see the first playoff game where the combined score from both defenses is greater than the combined score from both offenses.
Look for the Ravens to dominate early, but for Pittsburgh to control the second half. A 34 point O/U is ridiculous. Pittsburgh 17 - Ravens 7. Look for the officials to have at least one controversial call in this game.
Eagles over Cardinals in a wide open high scoring affair. The Cardinals have gone further than anyone thought possible, but this weekend the Cards come up short. Philly 30 - Arizona 28.
The Super Bowl will also be known as the Keystone State Championship.
Cardinals
Steelers
Chilkoot... Thre of the four teams are for the birds.
Ravens Cardinals would have had the same effect. :-)
Another reason Pittsburgh will win the Super bowl, we've seen what happens to all birds eventually (They come back to earth - or water, as the case may be)
BnG:
Good point. Never got past the Eagles. But since I used to feed the cardinals in my Minnesota yard and they have such a lovely call, I'm going to pull a Best. Please change my picks to:
Ravens
Cardinals
As you know, my dog is no longer in the hunt, so if your boys keep barking and it ends up two PA teams making the trip to TB, I will toast with you.
Iggles regress,Ravens fold. Cards-Pitt Super Bowl
ALL PA Superbowl (It's been that kind of year for sports)
It looks like Philadelphia's year, ala the '69 Mets & Jets...
Eagles 34 Cardinals 13
Steelers 19 Ravens (nevermore) 16
Steelers
Eagles
Cardinals
Ravens
Steelers Eagles.
Wow, I am shocked so many people picked Stillers/Cards. I thought I'd be the only one. Gotta stick with em though.
C Mas.,
Stillers / Cards would be a heck of a grudge match considering that the Rooney's choose Tomlin over Whisenhunt and Grimm.
I'd have to imagine that the scribes here would rather have a Cards/Stillers match-up because of all of the extra angles.
Since I have played this game in complete humiliation so far I should finish with my head held up. I would love Arizona vs. Baltimore just because it would make NBC nervous about their ratings.
However, it will be Eagles vs. Steelers. And NBC can breathe easily.
There's just something about those Cards.
Cardinals
Steelers
Cards.
Ravens.
With my 25% accuracy so far, I am sure people have been waiting to hear from me...
Cards because I think the Eagles may be satisfied by beating the G-men, and Cards still get no respect. They may be the Giants of this year.
Ravens, because Big Ben had that concussion, and I think the Ravens will get to him, Flacco won't screw it up and lose it for them.
Though if the Eagles and Steelers make it, I will make my sure-fire SB winner pick right now: The team from Pennsylvania!
Is it true that the Ravens are the first team to play 18 weeks straight without a break?
Also, I heard a stat this A.M. that in 27 matchups of teams in the playoffs where the possibility of a three game sweep was on the line, 14 times the sweep happened and 13 times the series ended up 2-1.
I'd love to see how that broke down when the third game was at the 2-0 teams field (Although you'd have to think that *almost* all the the 27 games ended up with the third game at the 2-0 teams field)
Ravens
Cardinals
Raven, Eagles
Eagles
Steelers
It will be a Steagle Super Bowl! (How many of you remember that these two teams combined to play as one during WWII?)
Ravens/Eagles
Steelers don't win AFC Championships at home. Fact.
I see the Stillers aren't getting much love on this blog... keep it coming that's just the way we like it. :-)
Ravens will be the only team this weekend fielding a QB that's never won at the Conference Championship level.
Third and long will be something that the Ravens are going to try and avoid this Sunday, that means having Flake-o throw on 1st down. Not something that works real well against the Steelers 3-4.
Key to the game is how well Flakey connects with Derrick Mason/Mark Clayton.
The Ravens have won the turnover battle for both of theire prior playoff efforts. Turnovers will be key again against the Stillers.
Keep Stiller hate'n folks, I'll be unbearable on Monday. :-)
Ravens
Cardinals
Eagles
Steelers
I'm picking the Cardinals and Steelers too. Although a Keystone Superbowl is intriguing. (Little known fact you would never have guessed about me - I was born in PA. I also stole a 4 door pickup truck and 4 horse trailer when I was 18, but that's a whole 'nuther story.)
