Does LTmeansLaDainian Tomlinson stay in San Diego?
The back-and-forth negotiations continue, and there's now reason to believe a compromise could be worked out where Tomlinson's contract can be restructured and keep him in a Chargers uniform through at least the 2009 season.
There'd been talk that Tomlinson was ready to leave - further fueled by former Chargers quarterback Drew Brees saying in a radio interview that he'd love to see Tomlinson traded to New Orleans. But the pendulum appears to be swinging back toward Tomlinson remaining with the team, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

From Verne Gay's entertainment column in Newsday:
""I would have to believe I have more danceability than Jason Taylor," said former Giant Lawrence Taylor of the former contestant and former Dolphins defensive end. (Trash talk!) "All I can say is, what have I got myself into?" (Negative trash talk!)
Honestly, he was only OK. His cha-cha was just a cha. His legs were kegs. His bod was a rod. But this is LT. He must go on."
May I make note: "BUT THIS IS LT"
Dammit Glauber, man up. Even Newsday's entertainment reporter knows WHO IS LT.
Quit antagonizing some of your most loyal commenters, and give LT, and us, the respect we deserve, as you said you would.
"Harrumph,Harrumph", British Parliament style, from two time zones away.
I second LTmeansLawrenceTaylor; this is the one issue that brings Coulter, Best, and Olbermann together. If Glauber keeps the denier act up Chuck D and Flavor Flav will reunite under an updated "Fight the Power" banner. This cannot stand.
BG, I knew you couldn't get away with it twice.
You'd be third craig....I seconded LT. (obscurely I s'pose).
I concede position to the house parliamentarian.
Deal is done. Chargersville can breathe a little easier since another team great wasn't shown the door (as was Junior Seau).
I have decided, as much as I appreciate all the man has done, that on this blog, I will only refer to him as L. Until he helps the Chargers win the Super Bowl. Then I'll call him Mr. T.
Charlie,
Thanks for that, but as far as I am concerned, since you are an SD fan and live out there, you can and should be able to call him anything you like here or anywhere...
But as for Glauber...
