Wait a minute... is that Neil Best?! I think he still has those same glasses, doesn't he?

But less hair now. And for every hair he has lost, I've gained a pound.
The photo was taken on April 13th in 1985. Neil was taking a circuitous route from Alaska back to New York and was kind enough to join us in our celebration.

(Enver was still unable to attend the wedding, his heart wasn't into it).
My sister was looking forward to her 21st B'day the following day and finally burning her fake id.
Air India contacted the Toronto Airport to report a threat to hijack an outbound flight. ONE SQUAD CAR was assigned to the plane.
Nobody famous was born that day, (although Koots, I give you credit for getting married on the 242nd B'day of Thomas Jefferson...my all-time number one hero).
Finally, God Bless Mrs. Koots for making an otherwise horrible picture look birlliant.
Hmm... I think that's the same guy at every wedding or bar(t) mitvah I have ever been to, with the odd laugh that shakes my hand for far too long.
