Enough with the Eli bashing. Alot of the team broke down at the end of the year last year, with Plax out and the D-line hurting. There were also alot of dropped balls. Eli did a great job in the SB run, so he has performed in the clutch.

No, Eli's arm strength shouldnt be a concern (Not mentioned here, but Manning bashers keep bringing it up). He won't throw a ball in windy Giants stadium after this season, no one will. And the wind is something to adjust to, both for the QB throwing the ball and the OC making the calls (As you know, I think Gilbride is the wrong OC for Manning and the Giants, and his performance causes alot of people to think Eli has the problem).

Reese won't blink. Not a chance. Didn't blink for Strahan (Think he may come back to the Giants this season? j/k). Not only does not blinking with the Browns mean this deal has a better chance of going his way, but like the Strahan situation did for Giants players unhappy with their contracts, this deal will let other GMs know Reese won't be manipulated, thus making Reese's future dealings better for the Giants.

BTW When the Browns were asking for Kiwi and a first rounder, did they also ask for Reese's first born and a map to the lost city of gold?

I'm a believer that says the Lions are making a BIG mistake if the guy they are close to signing is Stafford. I've seen him play plenty in the SEC and he isn't worth that price. He may not be another Joey Harrington or Akili Smith but the Lions need a lot more than a mediocre QB, they already have a few.They should have taken Curry.
