Another team interested in Plaxico Burress
So says Burress' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, in a recently posted Twitter feed.
"Good news for Plaxico as a 3rd team has just expressed serious interest in signing him," Rosenhaus wrote. "I won't identify any of the teams at their request."
The Jets and Bucs have already expressed interest in Burress if he can resolve his legal entanglements stemming from last November's self-shooting at a New York nightclub.
Meanwhile, the Miami Herald reported today that Burress has told friends he would love to play for the Dolphins. Burress makes his off-season home in Miami. No word from the Dolphins on whether they'd be willing to take a flier on Burress. My hunch is that Bill Parcells is about as interested in having Burress join his team about as much as he'd want me to line up at wide receiver.
UPDATE: Armando Salguero of the Herald reports that the chances of Miami signing Burress lie somewhere between slim and none.

The Harlem Bloods and the Brooklyn Crips also have interest, although the Latin Kings passed. MS13, first on the clock at Rikers this year, is looking to trade the pick. I love the draft! Plax rules!
Bob, and i hope the Jets feel that way too. Heard the Bears might have some interst in Plax.
I have heard the Bucs might have some interest in him. He should do well in Ybor City and the strip clubs over there.

I feel prompted to once more share with you my appreciation of your blog, analysis, and NFL coverage.
I was reading another national guy's analysis of the 09 Giants, at a website you have referenced, and was so disappointed with a couple of his "points", I was actually motivated to post for the first time to anyone else's NFL blog.
I made him aware of things he seemed ignorant of from the G-men last season, refuted his analysis of Eli, and disproved his "facts". I was polite for the entry, perhaps outside of my telling him he obviously doesn't follow the Giants all that closely.
My posting was up for 1 hour before it was taken down.
They didn't even just remove whatever they felt may have been impolite. Deleted the whole entry.
Pathetic.
He could have left it, or even responded defending his positions, but I think he realized that I called him out for poor analysis, proved to him as such, and cowered.
You would never have done such a thing (Certainly not the poor analysis, but I am referencing the cowering). Maybe its you just being a man, maybe its your being a New Yorker, I don't know.
But I do know you provide great analysis and insight, and behave in an admirable way.
