Drew Rosenhaus tweets, the NFL world listens
The high-profile agent, who represents a ton of players, including Jets disgruntled running back Thomas Jones, has turned his Twitter account into a vehicle for disseminating lots of tidbits about his clients.
Check 'em out, and there's bound to be a player or two from a team you follow:
* (Former Giants CB) Sam Madison is working very hard to rehab his injured ankle and will be healthy in time for training camp. He wants to play again in 09.
* Another player who should be with a team is Ebenezer Ekuban. Eb is versatile and a good leader. He is ready to go for the 09 season.
* It is shocking that Nate Webster isn't signed yet. Nate was very solid last year for the Broncos & can play any LB position. He is healthy.
* (Giants RB) Danny Ware has the ability to be a starting RB in the NFL. He's going to take advantage of his opportunity in 09 with the Giants.
* Antonio Smith was one of the top leaders for the Cards last season. He is a great addition to the Texans defense & will make a huge impact
* Saw Star Trek with Jared Gaither of the Ravens. At 6"9 he is the tallest player in the NFL. I felt bad for the people sitting behind him.
* I worked out today with Jon Beason, Frank Gore, Thomas Jones and Donte' Stallworth. They are in great shape and ready to have top seasons.
* I recently spoke with the Chargers & they indicated that Kassim Osgood is still available via a trade. I believe a 4th round pick would do.
* Look for Gabe Watson of the Cards to emerge as a top nose tackle. He'll be healthy this season after playing all of 08 with an injured knee.
* Don't count out Drew Stanton in the Lions' QB derby. Drew has all the ingredients to be a top QB in the NFL and he is ready to compete.
