Pacman to the Jets? No.
An NFL Fanhouse report on Saturday said that "someone close to [Pacman] Jones" stated that the Jets have expressed interest in the troubled cornerback.
But a source familiar with the Jets' thinking told Glauber that that is not the case.
"No interest," the source said.
The Cowboys released Jones in January after new allegations surfaced from his involvement in a 2007 shooting outside an Atlanta strip club, though no charges were filed against Jones.
He played nine games for Dallas last season, making 31 tackles with zero interceptions.
False alarm Jet fans.

If the Jets desperately needed a CB I would understand their interest, but they have much better starters in Revis and Sheppard, and have pretty good depth with Strickland and Lowery. Maybe they want to sign him for extra depth at CB and as a punt returner, because Jones is a better PR than Leon or Leonard. It still doesn't make much sense though, unless they can get him to play for practically nothing and Ryan thinks he can get him to play like he did in 07.

Sheesh, Jets Flight Crew video and baseless Pac Man rumors, why bother posting anything? I know its offeason but would rather see a blog entry on the battle for back up Guard than this drivel.

Yes, Wayne (and Deb), this is silly. What I wonder is, what can a Jets Fan do about this? I enjoy my team and am more than willing to read about them year round (yep, even the back-up guard battle is important!). So what to do?...talk about Pac-Man? Geez...
How about some more info on the next ota or mini-camp or Sanchez or Mangold...don't the receivers work out year round?? What's Stuckey or Clowney doin' RIGHT NOW?? Can we get some video tape of them running routes???
