I would like to thank LTmeansLawrenceTaylor
In a previous post that was essentially a series of my own Twitter posts from this morning's court hearing for Plaxico Burress, regular commenter LTmeansLawrenceTaylor reminded us of why we're actually here.
He makes a series of valid points, all of which we take very seriously. They included: why Twitter is a nuisance; why he is sick and tired of reading almost exclusively about Brett Favre, Plaxico Burress, Michael Vick and any other misbehaving or unretiring diva who has dominated way too many headlines in recent weeks/months.
Bottom line for LTmLT: How about some football?
We hear you, my friend. We hear you.
It doesn't mean we'll ignore the big stories of the day. But it does mean that we'll try and get back to the stuff that people are drawn to football in the first place: namely ... well ... football.
... oh, I'm writing for tomorrow's paper about ... Plaxico.
Sorry. He actually was in the news and has to be written about, because the Jets are talking about signing him.

So the Jets are fine and happy with what they have. Then they are talking about signing that POS. Rex Ryan needs to talk from one side of his face only. Or are the Jets not talking about it - we are?
It was the "Please" that got you, wasn't it?
I absolutely see how twitter can be useful to a writer like you, Bob. There may be so many worth your attention, you may need help with them, from agents to teams to players. But not much for me.
If I want quick NFL news, I can check your blog, or any online news site, or an espn channel. Immediacy does little for me outside of the games.
There seems to be endless outlets for news. You're special, Bob, because of your analysis and ability to share perspective. Occasionally I like to remind you of that, and give you a "gentle" push in that direction. The blog gives you freedom to discuss and get into depth that you likely can't in your newspaper articles. I would think you find that attractive.
That and getting to interact with us.
I mean, that has to be fun for you.
Oh, and you are quite welcome.
Good morning. Men of genius do not excel in any profession because they labor in it, but they labor in it because they excel.
I am from Zambia and , too, and now am writing in English, give true I wrote the following sentence: "This one here is a biggie folks; one that I am quite jealous I can not win myself because it would be perfect for me and ellie since she starts preschool at the beginning of september."
Waiting for a reply :D, Ozturk.
