We apologized to LTmeansLawrenceTaylor for obsessing too much on the handful of players dominating the NFL news - i.e. Favre, Plax, Vick, etc. - and promised we'd make a good faith effort to pay attention to the other stories around the NFL.
But we had to spend one more day weighing in on Plax, especially because the Jets have been mentioned as a potential suitor.
My column for the newspapers suggests that Gang Green ought to steer clear of the former Giants' receiver ... for the obvious reasons. Here it is.
Memo to LTmeansLawrenceTaylor: Heading to Giants Stadium to cover your favorite team. If I do mention Plax in tomorrow's column, it will be for all the right reasons.
