CFLer pays tribute to Michael Jackson...
...in very strange fashion.
Toronto Argonauts receiver Arland Bruce (who played his college ball at Minnesota) paid homage to the late Michael Jackson by ripping off his helmet, shoulder pads and jersey before laying down flat in the end zone after scoring a touchdown. He was pretending to be buried.
The CFL is reviewing the celebration, which occurred in Toronto's 30-17 season-opening win over Hamilton last night, and got Bruce two objectionable conduct penalties.
Said Argos coach Bart Andrus: "I made the mistake of telling him in camp that once he got to the end zone, I didn't care what he did. But he's straight with it now and I think next time around he will celebrate in an appropriate manner."
