Ross Signs

And all the picks are in the fold. Just got word from Aaron Ross' agent that the contract is being signed as we speak... A five-year deal worth up to $13.5 million, with $8 million guaranteed.

Always good to have all the picks signed before camp. At least they will all have a chance to contribute early in the season now. It's always frustrating to see a top pick hold out & not be able to play until halfway thru the season. What do you think the odds are that Ross will be one of the starters, if not at the beginning of the season, that at some point during it?

ur thoughts on Kevin Weekes?
:)

I KNOW WE SPOKE ABOUT THIS YESTERDAY, BUT YOU SAID THAT THE GIANTS DIDN'T SIGN ANY OF THE AVAILABLE FULLBACKS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE AS GOOD AS ROBERT DOUGLAS. I'VE BEEN READING ABOUT THE AVAILABLE FULLBACKS, AND ALL THE REPORTS SAY THEY ARE ALL GOOD BLOCKERS (ANDERSON WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A DEVASTATING BLOCKER) SO HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT A GUY THAT NOBODY HAS SEEN PLAY ,IS BETTER THAN ANY OF THE OTHER FULLBACKS? BY THE WAY, JUST HOW BIG IS ROBERT DOUGLAS?

What's with the caps? And what's with this 'we need a FB' crap? If the coaching staff feels that Robert Douglas can handle it, then he can handle it. Why spend money on a FB, when you already have one in front of you? I see no sense in throwing away money on a free agent FB, when they can use it for help in the secondary (SS Jason Bell recently put on IR).

Arthur, thanks for the reports, I can't wait to see what you give us from this day forward... it should be an exciting camp. I, personally, am looking forward to see how Aaron Ross does... I just don't think Corey Webster has a bright future. I wouldn't be surprised if McQuarters and Madison do start at Dallas, but I would expect Aaron Ross to eventually take one of their spots by week 5.

Just my two cents...

forget about leach and forget about te's. you still did'nt answer my question.

You might've read a scouting report. Fine.

We're just telling you what the likely explanation is. Just because a scouting report says "x player is a dominant blocker" doesn't mean it's true, and doesn't mean Reese, who makes these decisions thinks so.
