Steve Smith and Domenik Hixon are the 3rd and 4th WRs. Also inactive: David Tyree, Kevin Dockery, Manny Wright, Danny Ware, Adam Koets and Jerome Collins. That also means the Giants are going with two TEs.
Also, Kevin Everett is in the house. Think what you will about motivations and such, but it's a great thing no matter whom you root for.

Steve Smith sucks dick
Well, that was special....
Wow
Bradshaw, Bradshaw, Bradshaw, amazing game, not that i've been saying they should use him more or anything.
Its funny how his first TD is the longest TD this year (according to the announcers)
Manning played pretty good despite the two picks, one Toomer should of had, and the other, cant do much about a tipped ball.
Defense got it together and flipped a switch, 2 INT for TDs, couple sacks. This is the defense I remember from earlier
Special Teams played good
I was sitting at the edge of my seat when they went deep with Smith, and it was just a bit too far
All in all three straight playoff apperances is more than any fan can ask (well maybe a win in the playoffs (smirtk))
I really cant think of anything to say, just excited they won and finally clinched the playoffs and hopefully calm down some critics
Game ball goes to RB's (Jacobs and Bradshaw) almost 300 yards
Well looks like we're off to knockoff the pats from there perfect season next week, and end the season on a high note
SMith dropped a TD. Eli did not play well. Bradshaw did come up big. Kavicka also has played very well lately.
Nice kick to start the game by Tynes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they are not a great team but made the playoffs congrats......
rough drop for the rookie...might be the best ball Eli threw all day and it went to waste. i just hope jacobs isnt hurt too bad, but nice to see the coaches finally did two things right: committed to running the ball and let Bradshaw do his thing. Kid looks reeeally good If they rest Jacobs and Plax next week instead of foolishly trying to win against the Pats, and keep rotating the RBs like they did today we have a better shot at winning a game in the playoffs than I thought. Especially since its on the road.
Memo to Steve B...
Eli did not play "pretty good," you pathetic homer. He played like typical Eli, which is to say, he sucked. He fumbled five times, losing two of them, and threw two interceptions.
You can blame the weather all you want, but good quarterbacks, when they play in inclement weather, usually don't stink up the house.
The Giants won in spite of Eli, not because of him.
He must go. A star, he's not. He is this year's version of Dave Brown. Except that Dave took his licks like a man. Of course, Dave wasn't making 9 million dollars.
Memo to Dale
I Still say he played pretty good, had a nice 3rd down completion to Toomer, and he moved the chains in some nasty weather. The bottom line is they won. He can threw 10 interceptions, 20 fumbles, but as long as they win does it really matter?
And having 5 fumbles is no execuse, but only losing 2 of them isnt that bad. Toomer should of had that ball that was picked off, and the other interception was a deflected ball, you tell me how many QBs can prevent a tip ball from being intercepted?
I know that I will never convince you that Eli is a good QB, and he will be the NY Giants QB for awhile. But the fact of the matter is that they are going to the playoffs for a third consecutive year, would any real fan want anything different?
For all I care, Eli can go 5-20 with three picks every game if they keep winning.
Three straight trips to the playoffs is nice, lets just see if we can win one for a change. I don't blame Eli too much for his lousy performance today, the weather sucked and he made up for it by not throwing too many times. The running game and defense were awesome. Next week it's 150-0 New England. It will be nice to know the Giants don't NEED this game so much now. But going into the game it will be good to know that just maybe...................... forget it, we'll be 10-6 going to Tampa Bay for the Wildcard and that's fine by me. GO GMEN!!
Corey WEBSTER???
It's a Christmas miracle!
A run-oriented game plan - sorta makes me wonder why they didn't do that last week.
Actually, I don't have to wonder. Kevin Gilbride is cancer.
This team has talent. This team has playmakers. The only thing holding us back is Kevin Killdrive.
One thing I AM wondering about was the confusion/timeout that Eli called (nevermind the resultant fumble). Clearly there is a problem with the communication/playcalling - something between Eli and Killdrive isn't meshing. If I had to guess - I'd say it was Killdrive's fault and we'll never know the truth. After all - Eli is a smart QB and Kevin Gilbride is an idiot who has a job because he is Coughlin's cronie.
This offense will never live up to it's potential as long as Kevin Killdrive is around.

"And having 5 fumbles is no execuse, but only losing 2 of them isnt that bad."
Wow. OK, to put it into perspective: If Eli performed as he did yesterday in every game of the season, his numbers would be 112-of-240 for 1,776 yards, 0 TD, 32 INTs, 80 fumbles (32 lost). That would add up to a 32.2 QB rating and the obliteration of the Kerry Collins/Daunte Culpepper fumble record. With 64 turnovers and no production from the position, the team would probably go 0-16 and get blown out in most of them. If he had a season like that, would you still say it wasn't "that bad"?
This isn't an argument about where he stands among NFL quarterbacks or if he's the man for the job. We're just talking about yesterday. If you trusly consider yesterday's performance pretty good, you're not being logical.
Also, both interceptions were his fault. The one thrown at Toomer, I don't blame him too much for because you can credit the corner for playing tight coverage and jumping the hitch route. But you can't say Toomer should've had it because the ball didn't even get to him. The one thrown Plaxico's way was a bad decision - would've been even if he had completed it. There were three defenders around Burress, so he probably would've found a better matchup if he had gone through more of his reads.
Like SJH says, Eli must go.
Write a letter to Hillary and get him on the next plane to Houston or Oakland or wherever it is they send bad QBs to die in obscurity.
If you would allow me to defend myself
Yea 5 fumbles is pretty bad in that weather conditions, but losing 2 out of 5 isnt that bad, where i've seen many quarterbacks loss all of there fumbles.
After seeming some game footage, would re-say and put it as it was a bad ball to throw at toomer in good coverage.
I dont know about the other interception, its like with tip balls, theres nothing you can really do, it wasnt like the interception where he threw it straight into the arms of urlacher, like he did in the bears game
Eli did have a bad game, but both the QB's struggled, Edwards was only 9/26
Now every game is not going to be like that, and Eli played good enough to win, Im really starting to get sick of this Eli thing. The fact of the matter is Giants are winning, going to the playoffs 3 straight years. And no matter what any fan says, either defedning or attacking, we pretty much have no say in his future, so whats the point of arguing?
I say he is doing a good job, and as long as they win, I dont care what his stats are by the end of the day
Wrong, Steve.
We have a lot of say in Eli' s future,
Dale, I didn't say that Eli must go. I also don't think that fans have a say in his future. What fans have to accept is that, regardless of what they think of him, he's not going anywhere. It's like an $11-million cap hit if he's released after this season and the top unrestricted free agents will be Rex Grossman and Josh McCown. The draft also looks to be weak at that position. They're not going to get someone better than him, so Eli is and will be the quarterback. But what fans do have a say in is judging his performance, and there isn't enough sugarcoat or potpouri-scented Glade to cover up yesterday's stink.
It's not fair to compare Edwards to him. Playoffs included, Eli has made 56 starts. Edwards is a rookie with 8 starts under his belt. Also fair to mention: the Giants defense is better than Buffalo's.
Re: the INT off the tip. If you can watch it again, count the number of defenders who were around Plaxico. Off memory, he was in double coverage and there as another defender really close by. He's gotta go somewhere else with the ball. His mechanics have improved, but his decision-making has regressed this year.
Eli didn't play well enough to win; his running game and defense played well enough to compensate. Generally, in games where your QB turns the ball over 4 times, it's a loss. Making the playoffs in three straight is an accomplishment (although they shouldn't be lauded for last year's 8-8), but if they plan on going anywhere, the quarterback has to stop turning the ball over. Can we agree on that?
btw - The holidays are all about arguing over football.
Merry Christmas.
I would be the first to defend Eli for the showing against the Skins, as we dropped way too many balls to blame him for the loss. But it simply is unacceptable to play the way he did against Buffalo, fumbling the ball without even being hit. It is embarrassing when the ball slips out of his hands when he's getting ready to unload the ball. That's plain-old bad mechanics, as (1) he is not keeping his left hand on the ball to protect it and (B) he is slinging the ball from his hip rather than coming over the top as a professional QB is supposed to. It's even more embarrassing when we spend a second-half timeout to get a better play call and then fumble the snap.
If you are going to play smart football -- the brand of ball the Giants will need to play in order to beat the best teams in the conference come the postseason -- than two turnovers is one too many. Eli had FOUR. That is terrible.
I keep waiting for Eli to prove me wrong, but I'm not holding my breath. Rather, I am anticipating an Eli stinkbomb in the playoffs. How any Giants fan could actually have confidence in Eli at this point, I don't know.
Hey guys I know lets drop Eli and go get Shaun Hill or heck lets go get Simms kid. Cuz thats whats out there. Shut up and love the Giants. He's a Giant, he's gonna be a Giant and we're in the Playoffs. And I for one will be in Raymond James Stadium with my blue #10 jersey on thanking god that a broken down Jeff Garcia isnt quarterbacking my team.
