We're all set up for the press conference in which Strahan will officially announce his retirement, fulfilling the prophecy of Justin Tuck, who said yesterday: "Stra looks like he's more of a news conference guy, have the whole world watching as he reports it himself."
Anyway, among those scheduled to speak are John Mara, Jerry Reese, Tom Coughlin and, of course, Strahan. Not sure if we'll get teary-eyed Mike, happy-go-lucky Mike, whistfully reminiscent Mike, glad to be done with the pains of football Mike, or a combination of all of the above.
We'll see. And you'll probably see and hear it too since it'll be carried live by most local radio stations and probably a few cable sports stations. But we'll be back to update you as things happen and provide a little analysis ... and maybe even mop up some tears.
