Giants in Wynn-now mode

It took a few weeks to evaluate things, but after working out veteran DE Renaldo Wynn in mid-May they apparently came to an agreement with him this weekend.

Is he a Strahan insurance policy? The folks I've spoken to in the organization refute that he's being added as a replacement for 92 and that they'd be interested in Wynn even if Strahan was a lock to return. Still, if Big Mike decides to hang 'em up it'll be nice to have Wynn adding depth and experience to the position. Wynn, as you probably know, was a first-round pick of the Jaguars in 1997 -- when Tom Coughlin was the coach there. He played for the Saints last year and has also spent time with the Redskins.
