Brady's injury update for Carl
By Tom Rock
Per Carl's request, I'll work on getting the audio from the Belichick conference call posted. In the meantime here's the transcript of what happened. It was one of the first lines of questioning for the Pats coach.
Q: Bill, how is Tom Brady’s right shoulder? He’s been listed for about four years now with that injury.
A: (Pause) We’ll have an injury report today.
Q: Will he be listed with a right shoulder again?
A: I don’t know. We’ll let you know on the practice report after practice.
Q: Are you concerned because it’s been like four years now?
A: (long pause) Right.
Clearly Belichick knew the team would not be practicing when he said he'd have a report after practice. As John Lennon wrote: "We're playing those mind games together / Pushing the barriers, planting seeds."

This would be amusing if Kenny Mayne from ESPN hadn't done a mock report on it a few months ago...
espn's kenny mayne did a special on brady (or as he referred to him as #12). if you can find the video, it is halirous.
but Kenny Mayne is not funny....
you could have done something really funny with that interview but your ending's pretty weak
Kenny Mayne is hilarious. Shut up McEvil.
Tony Soprano put a contract out on Eric "The Rat" Mangini.Fuggedaboutit!!
New York fans and media members are truly becoming pathetic. I have moved on from disliking you guys to seriously feeling sorry for you. Is this all you have to hand your hats on these days? Whether or not Tom Brady is really hurt, or not?
You had your run in football and baseball (juice aided) in the 90's now it is time for New Englanders (minus southern CT) to enjoy. Relax, in about 5 years we'll be back to where you are right now. Maybe then I'll find fault with some trivial, idiotic little detail about your teams.
probably not though... oh yeah and we are going to achieve what the the Knicks never will in hoops in the coming years as well. Cross your fingers the Dolan's sell that team or you are going nowhere fast.
Connecticut is not in New England. Massachusetts is the most southern New England state. Typical masshole intelligence.
Garret - you are the idiot. And a tool. Just use wikipedia when in doubt numbnuts: New England is a region of the United States located in the northeastern corner of the country, consisting of the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.[2]
It is very nice of you to allow Garrett to post on this site. Sadly he has been missing his first grade level geography classes, so he will not be able to post anymore. Although we are still very proud (and he got a gold star!) for spelling Connecticut correctly.
Garrets special ed and idiot garrett are ignorant of the statement he made, which is, "New Englanders, to enjoy." If you search you will see New England isn't a state, nor, a country. Rather, merely a region.
How could an id10t ever reference the willingness of multiple states residence's to ever want to be associated with one another? I mean isn't that why they are seperate states?
New England is just darn good, and, when your on top, everyone wants to hate you. Myself included.
Does anyone remember the whole country saying "Hey Miami go undefeated and be perfect?" I don't but I am sure there is someone out there that will object.
uhm.. he specifically says in his post... "Connecticut is not in New England. Massachusetts is the most southern New England state." He is severely wrong. New England contains the six states mentioned in the post after (idiot Garret's), two of which fall decidedly more "southern" than Massachusetts. And yes while it is merely, to use your own phrase "a region" it is a region that includes Connecticut. You should do some more searching. It seems your facts are not facts but your opinion and even then... your opinion can be disproved by even a Connecticut third grader. Not to mention you should have your six year old cousin proofread your posts... you make no sense.
And remember everyone "New Englanders, to enjoy"
Actually, a few years back New Englanders, by popular vote, declared CT to be a suburb of NYC and banished it from the region. Look it up. Half the state roots for the Yankees, and then Hartford tried to steal the Pats. The situation was simply intolerable.
