Denver talks continue

Just heard from a source who said that while the Jets and Broncos are back at the table talking about a trade involving Dewayne Robertson -- even with the tumult in the Denver front office -- the deal does not include CB Domonique Foxworth. In fact, I'm hearing that the Broncos are closing in on signing Foxworth to the kind of long-term contract he's seeking, so he probably won't be signing his letters "Disgruntled in Denver" for much longer (((UPDATE: Please see above post))). Word is, however, that the trade could involve another Broncos player coming to the Jets instead of draft picks. Haven't heard who, though.

I want Foxworth out of Denver so we can get the Jets third round pick.
It would be cheaper to get Foxworth then to re-sign Ty Law.
Foxworth is a very good player, but with Bly and Bailey in Denver's secondary you really don't need him.
Also there has been alot of talk of Foxworth being VERY disgruntled with the front office of the Broncos.
I say, get rid of him for the best value we can get for him.
Thank you.

Dear Stepeh , You have no idea of what you are talking about. Just because we have Bailey and Bly doe's not mean we don't need Foxworth. If one of them goes down who steps in Foxworth does . He also can play safety and there is no info out of Denver that Foxworth is having any trouble in Denver in life or with the Broncos. As for a third round pick I bet Shanny will get one either before or during the draft.

stepeh:

u really have no idea what u r saying, denver needs depth at corner and we have great depth with foxy and paymah. its already been said we arent giving up draft picks for robertson. i live in denver and there has not been one single report of foxworth being disgruntled. if u would have seen his interview the other day u would know that he loves denver and wants to stay.

Did I just stumble in a Denver Broncos blog?

Yes you did, Jets boy. Do not trade away draft picks. The only other position we are deep in is TE. He is not worth Scheffler or Graham

Could be Bly, Paymah has made him expendable, it woould be a very good trade for both clubs.

Foxy is grade B

Bly is grade A

the jets do not have a third round pick. as for his knees that was a concern when they drafted him, plus if you think it's bone on bone that's not true bone on bone doesn't exist. if it did you could not walk. and if he is traded draft picks would be involed your roster doesn't have anyone except fox that helps the jets.the one thing robertson has that you need is a drug free player unlike thomas. so the trade might help due to that there is nobody left on the market.
