Get used to the kid in the above photo.
I have to admit I'm concerned with the question of who will be LeSean McCoy's coach after this year?
Despite his ugly playcalling (again) last night against Navy, I'd like to see Dave Wannstedt stick around. That offense has a bright future with McCoy and Pat Bostick at quarterback -- two guys he recruited. Throw in the handful of blue chip offensive linemen and stud tight end Nate Byham and you have yourself an offense for two or three years.
As for last night, I'm not sure what was worse: Lou Holtz or Wannstedt's decision-making process in the second overtime.
I'm going with Holtz for choosing Peppi's over Primanti Bros. (featured on this blog a few months ago here).
With respect to tonight's game, I'm continuing my stance on Wake Forest being a far different team than what took the field last year. Florida State should have no problem covering the 5.
Back tomorrow with the weekend madness.

Adam,
Peppi's over Primanti's? Yinz is nuts. Your problem was you didn't go to the original Primanti's, the one in the 'Strip District'.
The other 'must see' and 'must do' is to take the incline up to the top of Mt. Washington (Grandview Ave) and look out over the city. One of the most beautiful skylines in the country!
As for Wanny, what was he thinking? While the man is one of the best recruiters in the nation, his game day coaching is horrendous.
If he wants to save his job, he needs to fire offensive coordinator and former Pitt QB Matt Cavanagh immediately.
One good note is that my Mountaineer's should run roughshod over Wannys non existant "D".
By 'strip' do you mean Southside?
On Carson St. there's a great gyro's place: Mike & Tony's. You heard of it?
As for Mt. Washington, I'll be back in the city in about 6 weeks. Maybe we'll take a trip up there. Going for a wedding, guy proposed to the girl on Mt. W.
I think Pitt would be crazy to fire him. Who are they going to hire who can bring in talent??
And, yes, WVU is going to roast Pitt on a spit.
Adam, Nah, the 'Sow Side' is great, lot's of good blues bars and nightlife, but there's another area up past the Convention center called the 'Strip District'. It's an old railroad transfer area mostly for produce, that was converted years ago into a 'farmers market' during the day and with night life at night. (Normally when you hear about college or Pros running into trouble in Pittsburgh it's in the 'Strip'). By The way, Peppi's is in 'The Strip'.
Over on the South Side, check out Marios and Blue Lou's. If you like good blues music there's a bar at the far end called Excuses.
I actually think I was on the strip on St. Patty's day.
We started in one of the squares (A Primanti Bros. was on the corner). Then hopped on a train to another part of town. I remember a Hooters being at one end of it. We ate at some family style Italian restaurant.
Needless to say, I was a little dinged up by that point in the day. But I think it was the strip.
As for the south side...awesome time. My friends live on like 17th...one block from Carson. Always a blast when I go out there.
You probably started in Market Square (Where Spike TV's Kill point was filmed) where you went from there was Station Square - You really have to laugh over Pittsburghs Subway, all six stops of it! - Mike and Tony's is great! I used to work in the "White Elephant" which is the large white warehouse style USX data center not more than a few blocks from your friends on 17th. Also, for a good meal check out the 17th St cafe, just south of Carson.
Adam, back on Football, what would you say was the greatest collegiate rivalary game you've ever seen... for me it was WVU Pitt at the last game of Mountaineer field in 1979. What made it even better was that I was attending Pitt night school at the time and one of my classmates the next year in Public speaking was Dan Marino. Being a WVU fan while attending Pitt is an experience.
