I've got West Virginia coach Bill Stewart on the hook tomorrow to talk a little spring football and give us some insight into what's coming up this fall.
This will be the start of a spring/summer series I hope to run with coaches from around the country to get us geared up for the 2008-2009 season.
If there's a coach you want me to reach out to, drop a name on me.
If there's a question for Bill Stewart you have (BNG), drop it on me.
I doubt he'll be too jazzed to talk RichRod, and I'm more looking towards the fall.

Ask him if WVU provided fire retardant couches for his office, or at least gave him a stipend so he could pick out his own
Any chance that WVU will get on the Notre Dame schedule?
Also, Adam, I think you should look at Big 12 schools. We're so overloaded with East Coast conference coverage around here. I'd love to hear from coaches in the second best conference in the country.
furnk -- I will have Texas A&M's Mike Sherman on the hook next week. That will not limit my dabbling in conferences not on the east coast.
Jeremy -- In the spirit of keeping any credibility I may have, I will refrain from couch questions.
Adam,
Bill Stewart! Wow... wish him well for me.
I'd be curious to find out how the new Strength and Conditioning coach is doing. I personally think Mike Barwis was a bigger loss than RR.
I'd also ask him about how all of those high priced accomplished coaches are getting along... Doc Holiday and crew may be one of the best groups of assist. coaches in all of NCAA football. How do you keep a group like that satisfied and pulling together?
Also, how is he going to handle short yardage situations without a strong replacement for Owen Schmidtt?
His team, while it might have more speed than any other in the country, seems to be a bit undersized this year.. is that a concern?
Lastly, I love to hear his answer to "Does WVU have a shot at the national championship this year?" He has such a modesty to him, I can't imagine how he'd answer that question while continuing to maintain the modest character.
BNG -- I will try to tackle all of those topics. I had planned on talking to him about Beatty and what he brings to the table as a recruiter, but I'll talk about the staff in general. He sounds like a Frank Beamer, who I am very familiar with, so I think I know what to expect. Looking forward to it. Campus Confidential is back with a force.
Also, you don't play PlayStation3 at all, do you? I don't too much, but I was playing online yesterday against a "Black N Gold" with some number on the end...I'm sure there are a lot of Stiller fans out there, though.
Adam,
I refuse to play video games... if you consider how obsessive compulsive i am on this blogs.. you'll know why. :-) :-)
