So we knew it would be Oceanside's first real test in its undefeated season.
Didn't know it would be a classic.
From our own Chris Mascaro:
Tom DeNapoli scored the game-winner 52 seconds into overtime on an assist from his cousin Mike DeNapoli for host Lynbrook (8-1) in an 12-11 non-league win over Oceanside. Tom DeNapoli finished with a goal and four assists, while Joe Vitale chipped in with four goals and an assist. Derek Akner led Oceanside (8-1) with four goals and two assists.
Lynbrook has given Nassau Class A all sorts of problems. Farmingdale, Baldwin and now Oceanside. Lynbrook has got to have a lot of confidence going into its league schedule.
Was anyone at the game? What was it like out there?
