He won't play tonight, but Ryan Callahan, who has scored 15 goals for the Wolf Pack, is up for a quick look. Callahan, a 5-foot-10 right wing, who was raised in Rochester, also had six assists in 19 games and was a plus-3....
The lineup remains the same as the last few games....Pock, Kasparaitis sitting.
Thrashers have injuries on the backline; watch for the Rangers to try to force the play in the offensive zone and make the defense handle the puck.
More from the Garden...

Right, Renney. Keep the journeymen dreck playing but don't dare let a talented kid get a shift. Rangers' Rule #101.
Reason? Maybe the kid will actually do something noteworthy and you'll have to give him a shot.
Remember Prucha last year, who clawed his way onto the team only after injuries forced Renney to give him a look?
God forbid that should happen again - Renney might have to sit his boyfriend Hossa or Sather's prized acquisitions Hall & Cullen. Don't want to make the boss look bad, eh Tom?
There's no way that Hossa should even be on this roster, no less getting lots of ice time. He's a total zero and somebody needs to shake Renney by the neck until he wakes up.
Roszival & Malik are another joke. First liners here, they would be lucky to be 3rd liners on another team. Ozolinsh should be in the minors. He's a disaster.
We're sunk until Dolan sells the team and this entire management team gets fired. The Penguins will be a force for the next 10 years. We're on our way back down again.
If not for Jagr, Shanahan and Lundqvist, we'd be last in the league.
Other than Tyutin I don't trust any other defensemen out there. Ward has been ok since he got here nothing special and the other 4 are just weak links.
I hope Tom gets smart and gets Kasper in there Friday.
Agree with the previous posts. The defense is disgusting. And Hossa is a complete waste of space. His brother should bitch slap him and ask him to leave the NHL. Bring up some young guys. The current roster is not playoff worthy. Maybe we can clone Lundqvist, Jagr and Shanahan.
These two overtime losses hurt, but I don't think that it is cause for any panic. We were right there in both games against two very good teams. But I do agree that the younger guys like Dawes and Pock should be getting some ice time.
i too would like to see some more infusion of some of our young players. and i would also like to see casper get a chance. i miss his presence on defense
