I am cinfused on why Jagr did not go in the shootout? Isn't he the captain? Messier would never do this as a captain. Jagr take the C off and give it to someone that deserves it. Trade this guy. Yeah I don't know what I am tallking about.

What have the Rangers done since he has been here? Nothing. This team is not goin anywhere after this lost. A 2-0 lead at home blown. Not a good time. At least 10 points have been given away this year.

I agree I think Jagr should be stepping up and shooting in the Shootout. "He's not where he wants to be," Renney said ...WHAT? When has Jagr been where he wants to be in a Rangers jersey? Few more losses and we will get to see 'baby' mode...

I want to know where Brodeur took his acting lessons. The guy is one of the Biggest goalies in the NHL and the way he fell when Avery pushed him and Jagr bumped him last night is ridiculous. I give him credit because he does it for his team and draws the penalty but, the Refs have got to scratch their heads just a little bit the way he dives!

Although adding something to the Blue line may help. Does everyone really feel that is the worse part of this team?

At this point I hope we make trades that help the future and not this season at all!

I agree on the Jagr thing. A true captain would want to be front and center to win that shootout for his team. I also think we need to cut the dead weight now, pick up some more youth and look to next year. It may seem like they're only a few points out, but true Rangers fans that have watched every game the past few seasons under Renney know they will just fall apart in the end. Even if they did make the playoffs they would most likely get swept again.

And yes Brodeur is a fine actor. I don't understand when I guy like that, who is clearly a hall of fame goalie would be taking these dives. I've seen him interviewed and always thought he was a stand up guy(no pun intended), but now it appears he's just another primadona that will cheat to get the win. He's still a great goaltender, but I have lost all respect for that guy.

Jagr is just not good at shootouts, ovechin has been bad also, get over it. We were up by two goals, this game should have never gone to overtime or the shootout! I thought clutching and grabbing were supposed to be out in the "new" NHL. Why are the Devils the least penalized team in the league, when they are constantly hooking/ interfering/obstructing? There were at least a half dozen obvious penalties on them that were not called the last two games. It's ridiculous how the refs never see the Devils do anything, yet Jagr is checked/tripped into a flopping Brodeur and is called for goalie interference.

Jagr should go along with Nylander and Straka. Let's get some North American players here who fight for the puck and go to the net and not pass all the time.
