Pack is back....

in Hartford....

According to Bruce Berlet of the Hartford Courant, who says a multi-year deal with new arena owners will be announced today

Good news for the fan base there, and metro-area fans who want to take in a game

Anybody see Aaron Ward in versus studio the other night? He may eventually get into TV or radio. Guy does love to talk...

Anybody surprised by Detroit's 5-0 win? I was; thought it would be much closer.

Anybody think Buffalo can save face and win one in Ottawa? If they get a lead, there's a chance...

Your thoughts...

the sabres were exposed in the rangers series. they'll win tonight because they will be more deperate but ottowa finishes them off on friday. take away buffalo's 10 shoot out wins and they certainly don't appear to be the juggernaught they were made out to be.

Go Sens Go.

Stick a fork in em there done. Should have been done a series ago.

The Fat Lady is warming up if not already singing.

It's gonna kill the Sabres fans, most of them thought they already won the Cup when they went up 2-0 on the Rangers. What am I saying they thought they had it wrapped up after going up 1-0.

Can I pick up my Adams award now?

yea, buffalo fans were a tad overconfident.

great reg. season team...not enough toughness for the playoffs.

I must admit I do not like the Buffalo fans. I do like the team and Ruff may be a bit of a ____ but if he is your teams coach you love him. So, sorry they will lose, but Buffalo deserves to lose. Too arrogant.

Bruce may have jumped the gun regarding the Pack.

He took a couple of steps backward the next day and reported that an agreement still had not been reached. Added that the AHL's definitely trying to encourage an agreement witness it's extending its "deadline" of May 15 and giving the parties another two weeks in which to reach an agreement..

And there's another factor in play - the Devils in conflict with those in charge of the arena in Lowell which houses their AHL affiliate.

Lou Lam steadfastly denied that the Devils were interested in Hartford as a home for their farm club or that they might shift their AHL club to Newark as co-tenants in the new arena there.

Still and all, this gives the new managers of the Hartford Civic Center, AEG Northland some leverage vis a vis reaching a deal with MSG.

?

Hey, are the Rangers ever going to trade Kevin Weekes? The man is an abomination and the only thing worse is the fact that he is paid 2 million to stand in the pipes where Helen Keller could save more.

?

CJ,

Kevin Weekes is a UFA, and even if he weren't, who would have wanted to trade for him anyway?

Valiquette is going to be the Rangers backup next year.

Montoya is either going to be traded or once again the goalie for Hartford.
