Smiles, Everyone, Smiles!!!

Not a gloomy puss in the training center today, which seems to be the way these guys have approached the last couple months. In fact, my pinch-hitting presence for Zip today drew the Jagr Quip of the Day.

Upon seeing me, Jagr said, "Oh, great. Bad luck... First he kills the Giants' season, now us."

Always nice to be remembered...

Jagr practiced on his sore left knee, which he pronounced, "Still there." Fedor Tyutin rested his sore leg and Henrik Lundqvist rested his sore body from taking 38 pucks last night.

Biggest change was Nigel Dawes skating on the left side with Sean Avery and Brendan Shanahan, with Martin Straka back up on the top line and Marcel Hossa skating with the fourth line. Brad Isbister -- you remember him, right? Goalie interference penalty, standing in no-man's-land on the tying goal? -- was just skating.

Renney wouldn't commit to any changes yet. "We've gone to war with this group," he said, though he added he wanted to see Dawes out there with the regulars. Dawes had a goal in eight games with the big club back in October and was the Wolf Pack's leading scorer in the regular season (27 goals, 33 assists) and in the playoffs (five goals, six assists).

It was explained to Jagr that the guy wearing the 'C' has to say certain things when his team is down 3-2 in a series.

"I feel like ----," he announced to the locker room. "That's a guarantee."

if i knew wat rag doll here was talkin about id comment.

why does every game in this series have to have some kinda controversy. last nite was isbister's PHANTOM interference. also the 2 CHEAPEST PENALTIES OF ALL TIME in O.T. (both teams) ...the refs have killed a wonderfully, exciting series with horrid regularity.

we win game 6, u never know..but, it feels like its hopeless in buffalo.

LMAO, Islander fans cant even get people into their building during the playoffs games. Numbers don't lie, Rangers have better ratings all year long. If anything the Isles probably have a REAL chance of being contracted should the NHL look to do so.

I was watching the game with Mess the other night. He said the only reason the blueskirts were in the game was because of the Queen. Then he started blubbering like the night Daddy's Boy Dolan's team honored him...We had to make a run for more Kleenex then we saw " Beaches" together... Isn't Bette Midler great?

Having been born and raised in Buffalo, I feel compelled to tell the Sabres fans to stay on the Buffalo News blog and use some of this energy to rebuild your hometown. Have you driven down Bailey Avenue recently? Heck, you can buy a city block in Buffalo for about $500.00. This might be a good investment in about 200 years if global warming is real. Just remember you pathetic titleless fans, SCOTTY NORWOOD, SCOTTY NORWOOD!!!

New York City Islander country??? I don't think so. Have your AHL team average more than 12,000 a game and then come back and talk.

Day 6: 2:00 A.M.-3:00 A.M
Season 6, Episode 22

Episode Description
Originally Aired: May 07, 2007
Jack Bauer reels from the recent developments involving Audrey Raines and CTU stresses over the international significance of the threatening state of affairs. Meanwhile, unfortunate circumstances place Vice President Noah Daniels and presidential adviser Tom Lennox in a tense situation with presidential aide Lisa Miller.

Good news Sean, you'll be home to watch it, no need to set the TiVo!

bob,

what?

bob,

is there a point to that...or are u on the wrong blog?

Yeah Bob, Game 7 is on Tuesday night, not monday. So Jack Bauer can save the world and Sean Avery can win the eastern semi-finals and it won't conflict. Good thing to because I sure love 24.

Let's Go Buffalo

Native Bufalonian - take your own advice don't go to the the buffalo news blog - loser - Saturday 10 pm - I've got to hit every blog I know of then I'll insult the city b/c I known deep down today is my last hockey day of the season

"Buffalo will win the series, no matter what"

-Donald S. Cherry, May 5, 2005

You can't argue with the Canadian icon.

TJ -Sean Avery's girlfriend is on 24.

Anon - They would be travelling to Buffalo on Monday, which won't be necessary.

I got back from Buffalo yesterday after a heartbreaker of a game. I refused to remove my jersey when walking out of the arena, and I won't repeat most of the comments I heard. I would say it was disappointing to see such a classless bunch, but I know that many of our own fans aren't much better.

That being said, any Sabres fan I see at MSG today gets a handshake and a pat on the back - I won't sink to that level.

Lastly, it's my birthday, so a Rangers win would be a nice gift.

LET'S GO RANGERS!

-T

happy birthday, i gaurantee you a win

Jammie will win..... on the golf course tomorrow!
