Zipay's Latest Insider: Myths and Matchups

Don't know what jarred the well of memory about an uncle's response to a summer read in my often mis-spent youth---maybe I heard something about Venus and Aphrodite on some rocker on the radio today---but I flashed back and oh, well....

Here's the weekly Rangers Insider, which looks at some, but not all, potential playoff matchups. Ya think I got all day?

I'll file a dispatch from the morning skate tomorrow, but I don't imagine it will be too far afield from what Newsday's Arthur Staple covered today. You can read that here as well...Have a lovely evening as we march toward spring...

By the way, if you missed my Sunday NHL Insider, here it is.

Steve, got a link to your NHL Insider? Newsday mentioned it in the paper Sunday but I can't find it on the web.

Completely random question, I am buying tickets for the Rangers/Isles game at the Mausoleum on 4/3, and thinking about splurging for 4th row seats in section 116, and since no one seems to want to pick up the phone at the Maus, i need to know if that section is behind the bench or penalty box...any idea?

314,

that's behind the bench

this stubhub map indicates it:

314-Those seats behind the benches suck.I was second row behind the Isles bench for the last Ranger game (section 116 row c seat 11)....how row c was second row only the Isles know.....anyway I had Nolans big melon in front of me the whole game. The only thing good about the seats were me and my bud were abusing the asslanders the whole game.I was yelling at Nolan about him having their 15 year franchise mistake on the bench for such an important game. One good thing. That building will be filled with Ranger fans....probably 85% Ranger!

Dude-That stub hub map shows Islander tickets for $12.What a ripoff $12! And they still only will get 8000 fannies in the seats!

Just a quick reminder, to all New Yorkers, Habfans.com invites all to our weekly celebration, trivia shows, guests games and prizes.

Which uncle was that!

I read the blog every day. It's tough to get good Rangers info in Texas.
