I want all the prospects realize how idiotic this organization is and jump ship and go play in Europe.

I want Bob to learn the English language lol.

" I want all the prospects realize how idiotic this organization is and jump ship and go play in Europe"

yeah, because all our prospects I am sure read this blog religiously.

None of our prospects make any moves without hearing from you first Bob...

Dude you make no sense.

Chris, English is not my first language, and I do know it probably better than you.

How are you Rangers fans enjoying the playoffs so far?

They were just praising the Assistant coach for the Detroit. If Sather had any brains he would drop that useless sack of crap Renney and hire that guy or Wilson or Quenneville. But Nobody in the Rangers organisation has any brains.

NHL needs to review all the referees and start firing at least half of them. NHL is becoming unwatchable thanks to stupid rules and pathetic refereeing.

Black and Gold - The playoffs have been kinda of a downer after the 8 were reduced to 4.

really looking forward to a Detroit - Pitt finals. should be alot of entertaining, high scoring, fast paced games. exactly what the NHL needs.

espns coverage of hockey has gone up, the PTI boys are looking forward to this match up. the hockey guys at espn even say that this coming finals could do for the NHL what the 94 finals did.

seems like the NHL is moving in the correct direction. its still got a long way to go (getting back on espn for one), but im liking the progress.

Question:
In the NBA, in the years of Michael Jordan, there's always that super team that everybody's gunning for. I don't know if it helps ratings, helps interest.

Answer
COMMISSIONER BETTMAN: You know what my view on all of this is? You know, it is what it is. You know, I was in Philadelphia last night. A number of fans, some from afar, were suggesting that we have a rooting interest. I think all of you who know me know we don't. We just want to see entertaining, exciting games, and we want the officials to do a good job.

And the stories that will unfold will unfold depending what happens on the ice. You know, it's not about big markets or small markets. It's not about dominant teams or not. It's about the actual competition and how good the games are, how good the series turn out. That's what I think is the most important for fans.

Mike,

So what's your point? That the NHL wants the Flyers in the fianls and that's why they called a no-goal against the Pens in Philly Sunday night? What about the call-back last night on Detroit's obvious goal?

Get real. The game is played on the ice. As it should be.

Rangers fans, Senators fans, Philly fans, Dallas fans, Sharks fans can all sing in harmony that the games are fixed against them. The truth is those teams just weren't good enough.

Sound the horn.

Hey B&G

why do you have to come back here and instigate things?

You beat us and you are 3 games to none over Philly

You still have time to think about us?

get a life, enjoy your run

I wonder what the Penguin fans will do when the Red Wings roll over them?

What did you guys do when you got rolled by the pens?

Don't assume the Pens fans will come here when they are being smoked by Det. The only reason it won't be a sweep is because the league wants to be sure of giving NBC enough coverage. Coincendence that both series on verge of sweep are moving to gm 5 for weekend on NBC? Think not. Let's face it, Red Wings are more experienced, just as fast, just as talented, better defensively and more physical than Pens, so just where is this match up? Hell, I really beleive that Dallas would smoke the Pens as well, yet that would probably be a little closer series. Pens won't be spending much time in sin bin for gm 5 against Philly. That abberation was necessary so the series could get extended. Gm 5 will see the officiating go back to its wonder self and make sure that Philly is making a B line to the sinbin.

msg4ever,

I'm not going anywhere. I'll be around when the Pens win or lose. Like last night, my boys look horrid the first two periods. Geno and Sid barely showed up. Nine turnovers between Malkin and Crosby. Only the play of Fluerry and Staal saved them from being totally embarrassed.

As for Detroit. I'd say the Pens would be have to be certain underdogs in that contest, but we're getting ahead of ourselves. The pens have to still beat the Flyers once more before they can even think about playing in the 'Cup Finals.

As for Dallas. Pens > Stars.

You keep up with your ridiculous conspiracy theories. Maybe someday Oliver Stone will buy the screen play. I guess playing the victim is easier than admiting your team stinks.

Hey B&G

when we won the Cup in 1994, we beat the Capitals in th 2nd round.

You know when I stopped thinking about the Caps???

the moment we eliminated them

Why are you still thinking about the Rangers?

i can't wait for the Pens to stink again and then all these bandwagon fans are nowhere to be found and then they will prob have to re-locate like they almost did last time.

you are all a joke.

I'm your neighbor, your coworker, the guy in front of you on the checkout line. I live on Long Island, and subscribe to the print edition of Newsday. I'm a Pens fan because that's where I was born and raised.

I normally wouldn't post in the Rangers forum except that I was startled by Art Staples lack of decorum during the Pens Rangers series. I'm not sure I've ever seen a journalist lose his bearings and root so hard from the press box.

Much like a train wreck, it's ugly, but it's hard to look away.

Since then I've found the Rangers fans here on this forum amusing. Always blaming some vast "NHL conspiracy" for the failures of the team. Always playing the wo-be-gone victim. hoping for sympathy and being surprised when the pity doesn't come.

When you Rangers grow a pair and admit you lost fair and square, that your team just didn't have the backbone required to win, that the team is too reliant on aging superstars and role players who's best moves are waving sticks in goalies faces, that's when I'll quit posting. Because then, they'll be nothing for a Pens fan to post about in a Rangers forum.

I don't know why anyone even reads B&G's comments. The Rangers lost because their GM, coach's and captain all suck. I said it all year and I'm still right.
Detroit will roll on and win the cup no matter what the league wants!
CAMPBELL - ORPIK - MALONE. DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Black and Gold - ok we lost fair and square the pens are a far better team than our aging players. Now be a man of your word and stop posting here.

B&G you should go to the ESPN blog and post with your other Pens fans. The talk there is how the Pens are now a dynasty in the making. That always humors me as I thought that before yu could be a dynasty in the making you had to win something. Apparently Pens fans feel that you can be a dynasty without winning a Cup yet. Nothing like watching a dynasty in the making, funny how a team makes it to the playoffs for two years after being lost in the basement for almost a decade and suddenly they are a dynasty. I would have to say that Pens fans are somewhat lacking in sensibility and hockey smarts, as appears to be your problem as well seeing that you still post on a Rangers blog and want to continue to discuss a series that ended over a week ago. You should put your energy towards the dynasty and spend the time with your brethen who seem to be on another planet.

msg4ever,

Nice try to paint me with your "Broad Brush".

I guess you didn;t read my post that the Pens need to beat the Flyers once more before they can even "sniff the 'Cup finals", so you won't get me talking about a "Dynasty".

Even the most Biased anti-Pens Rangers fan has to admit though that the Pens have an abundance of young talent with four of their five best players being under 22 years of age.

Take another stab at it msg4ever. I'm sure you'll come up with something that "sticks"
