Hardly, according a story MSG's John Gianonne just recounted in the press room.
On the phone in the lobby of the team hotel Saturday night about 11:30, Giannone gets a tap on the shoulder.
No. 68 in shorts and a sweatshirt, asks to borrow $2 for a newspaper. "Ten million a year, and you don't have $2?" Responds Jagr: "Not with me."
He goes with Jagr to the store, and Jagr asks if the Sunday paper is last week's.
Giannone tells him that no, they predict today's news: "Penguins win, Jagr retires", Giannone jokes.

You can count one one thing. If the Rangers are eliminated today. This blog will be invaded like locusts by deranged Islander fans, and even some respectable ones that are just fed up with the crap we see on our blog. Mostly because an alleged Stanley Cup contender managed just 5 wins in the playoffs.
Oh, and we know the Isles sucked this year. If you've read the posts on the Islander blog you'd notice that we get on the Islanders' case just as much as you guys do on the Rangers'. So no use in coming to our blog to stir the hornets nest that will invade this blog like a bull when it sees RED when the Rangers are eliminated.
Me? I can't stop anyone from posting on either site. But, I'll just sit back and watch. Because you reap what you sow. That will be enough enjoyment till the Isles get to whoop your team again next season.
