Did the Rangers really make a play for Jagr or did Jaromir not really want to come back? I don't know which side to believe on this one. While I think it's best for Rangers in the long run, I really enjoyed watching one of the best players in the world over the past three years. I think the fans were really starting to embrace Jagr.

Hey Steve, great job covering the Rangers. I was just wondering in the chat you mentioned the Rangers might look at Kyle McLaren and Joffrey Lupul. I was wondering if thats just an opinion or Lupul is being shopped around. I think Lupul's great and would love to have him on the Rangers 2nd line.

Theres been rumors that some teams are bringing back 3rd jerseys this coming season is it true? are we gonna b seeing lady liberty next year?

It's true, but only some teams are bringing back their 3rd jerseys. The Rangers are not one of those teams. Maybe next season?

Everybody hates their defenseman, especially guys that put up a whole lot of points.

They sound like the way we sounded with Malik, but I know for a fact that Kalinin has more mobility than Malik.

Hey, if we are lucky, one of the Rangers youngsters like Potter or Sanguinetti will play so well Kalinin or Mara will become 7th defensemen.

You gotta have depth on the blueline, and personally I think it's rather amazing we made the 2nd round last year playing Strudwick, Backman and or Malik when Mara was hurt late last year.

Good I'm glad they hated him. They'll hate him even more when he cleans up his act for Renney and plays like he did after the lockout.

that link is to a Sabres message board. there's no better way to find out info on a player..because 9 out of 10 times it's a pretty accurate way to get a gauge on a player as to what to expect.
