that starts next summer....don't have terms at this second.
Pittsburgh, even without Hossa, on paper, looks like one of the teams to beat in the East. Of course, it's early

good for them. its still unbelievable marion Whore-ssa wouldn't want to stay with that team. Maybe the fans in Pitts aren't passionate enough and don't sell out that arena, oh wait.....
Does this get averaged in to this years cap or next year?
Next year, not this year.
Jarkko Rutuu and Shean Donovan signed with the Ottawa Senators, Jarkko for 3.9 mil over 3 years.
8.5 million for Malkin. Seems like a bargain.
Redden 6+ million for 6 years and is 31 yrs old
Malkin 8.5 million for 5 years and is .... 21 or something like that.
The more I think about the Redden (and Roszival) signings, the more I dislike them. I'd rather have just signed 1 of them.
I'd rather the Rangers not sign anyone and let some kids play for 1 year. This would have been the ideal year to do it with Jagr, Straka, Malik, Mara, Struds, Avery, Roszival and Shanny all unrestricted.
really?? team to beat in the East??? the Pens, with Malkin and Sid???? ya think????
always goes out on a limb
