Hello everyone. This is Rod Boone and I'll be with you guys through tonight's game between these two rivals. By now, I'm sure you have heard the sad news about Rangers prospect Alexi Cherepanov. Puts a little bit of a damper on things and keeps everything in perspective. But on a good note for Rangers fans, your team is going for its best start since 1984-84. First place in the Atlantic Division vs. the second place squad. Should be a good one. We'll see what happens.

No apparent collision?!?! You mean to tell me a 19 year old kid who's in the best shape anyone can be and is more than likely being watched by doctors all the time just collapses with heart failure? Evgeni Malkin sneaks out of the country and the Russians file an injunction trying to stop him from working in the US b/c he has a year left on his contract and JJ Jr says he isn't staying for his at the '07 draft? Was that a guy in a black suit, fedora, and an umbrella sitting behind Chereponov during that game?
