Downtown Doubleheader

First and foremost, I'd like to thank the IU Football Hoosiers for making me look good.  Last Friday I penned a blog titled, "Ripe for the Picking"  I had been thinking of writing it for a couple of days and pulled the trigger late Thursday night.  My thoughts, IU was a better team than they had shown in close, home victories against EKU and WMU, while Michigan was not quite worthy of a Top-25 ranking.

How Far We've Come

Just wrapping up another weekend "In the Nation"  Actually since many of OUR teams were on the road it wasn't too hectic of a time, but it is pretty cool to be sitting on my couch at 1:30 AM watching playoff baseball.  (and pulling for Knox County native Clint Barmes and the Rockies, who has come along way from his days as an Vincennes Lincoln Alice)

When One Victory is Better Than Four

First off, I thank you for checking out the blog, sorry it's been awhile since I've chimed in.  I haven't exactly been on vacation, but have been spending my time working on other tv

My premise was going to be that when it comes to our college sports coverage on Indysportsnation.com and Fox 59 we could turn the page on College Football, not worth spending much time and resources in covering, and just amp it up for hoops.

Opening Night: Where is the Buzz?

In case you weren't aware, the NBA regular season started Tuesday night.  This SHOULD be a great time for interest in the league, both nationwide, and right here in Central Indiana.

If you watch an NBA game, preferably in-person, remove those pre-conceived thoughts and allow yourself to be entertained. I think you'll appreciate both the level of play, and the atmosphere, most nights, during most of the game.
