He's not returning to the Octagon, but he is returning to a cage.
Royce Gracie will once again fight Kazushi Sakuraba, this time it will take place at 10 p.m. ET June 2 in the Los Angeles Coliseum on Showtime pay-per view for “Softbank presents Dynamite!! USA in association with ProElite”. Sakuraba and Gracie met before in 2000, with Sakuraba earning the victory during their incredible 90-minute match.
"That's a nice one," Royce's cousin and IFL coach Renzo Gracie said. "I can't wait to see him fight again."
The fight card also includes former NFL wide receiver Johnnie Morton, former WWE wrestler/champion Brock Lesnar and rising women's star Gina Carano.
