Jim Miller nearly submitted Bart Palaszewski in the first round with a deep D'Arce choke, but Palaszewski escaped to his feet.
Miller, a Renzo Gracie team member, is taking his coach's advice. Sitting literally four feet behind Gracie, you get to see how great of a coach he is. He's got the experience and he knows how to relay that to his fighters as Miller is getting the better part of the ground game and the fight.
Miller took BP's back very acrobatically. He had his back nearly the entire third round and almost choked him out, but BP got back to his feet. But Miller, who was relentless, earned the unanimous decision victory.
