MONTREAL -- Velasquez came out with a big left hook and knocked down Morris. Velasquez followed him down, transitioned from mount to Morris back, still raining down punches.
Morris took a lot of damage as Velasquez pummeled him from side control and earned the first-round referee stoppage win.
