Neil,
Glad to see you've advanced beyond Rank 9 in the Big Red Band. You haven't changed a bit. Or was that picture taken in the 80s?

Matt

Neil,

Great blog. Read you regularly online (I'm in RI and Newsday doesn not regularly make it to the newstand) and see the frequent references at mikefrancessa.com. Good blogroll links also. Might want to consider adding Chad Finn's "Touching All the Bases" for a Boston spin on things and Joe Posnanski's new blog (joeposnanski.com).

Neil,
Well, thought you might like this, please share, embed, whatever...
and let me know what you think! I recently made the one on 'Monday Nighting'. I appreciate your input.

Neil,
Russo just proclaimed that Kirk Radomski worked for the Mets as late as 2005. Not true, Radomski worked for the Mets between 1995-2005. But what's a 10-20 year difference mean to Russo in Dog years?

Neil,
do you ever listen to brandon tierney (sp)? I am generally positive about him, but a tad mixed.

He's a breath of fresh air for the most part. What I find annoying about him is:
1) he always feels the need to provide his credentials before giving one of his irrefutable points.
2) he's a bit of a knicks shill. His work for the Knicks has certainly clouded his judgement. He comes off hard on the players, but as for mgt and esp Isiah, he gives them a free ride. Always. comes across as he's carrying their water because he doesn't want to lose his radio gig. It's very bothersome.

I check your site a few times a day. Always entertaining.
-Mike

Neil,

It's Sid here. Happy Holidays! Reach out to me when you have a chance, thanks!

Good news, you are in a poll for the blog of the year.

Bad news, you're a 16 against a 1 seed, probably one of the most notable sports blogs out there.

You'll get my vote, though!

Neil,

Being the ultimate sports radio blogger... I must ask... Why have we not heard from Suzyn Waldman? I am wondering why no one has confronted her about her favorite ballplayer of all time.... Roger Clemens? How about some Andy Pettite comments? She IS the voice of the Yankees... can Watchdog get a comment from her?

Thanks.

Ryan from Kings Park

Enjoy your blog. Would you know where I could find video of Mackey Sasser and his double-clutch routine? I was telling my son about it and he doesn't believe it.

Dear Neil:

I was catapulted into the glory years of the Isles drive for five when I heard the legendary Jiggs MacDonald calling the game on FSNY last night from Edmonton.

Where's Howie and where has Jiggs been all these years and why now after so long from the Isles mike?

Is he back or is this for just a few games and he's wormholed back to legendary broadcaster cyberspace?

As always, I await your insightful thoughts on this matter.

Greg from Rochester, NY

neil, how many people does it take to talk about an nfl football game?i thought howie, jimmy, terry, on fox was enough but cbs tops them with dan, boomer.billy, bobby sammy, coach somebody, etc.talk about over-doing it. much of the pre and postgame shows are devoted to promos anyway.

I apologize to everyone above for not responding before now. My wife just discovered this group of comments by clicking on my bio. I had no idea you were all here! Thanks for reading. Neil

Neil,

You are truly becoming a cult hero.
