Why am I so morbidly fascinated by this comment?

Because it offers important food for thought as I continue to navigate the treacherous waters between old and new media - and old and new readers.

I don't mind boring y'all with this debate, because studies show that 83 percent of regular WatchDog readers are media geeks who love this kind of stuff - unlike normal people, who probably read our Mets and Yankees blogs to learn about . . . sports! Yuck.
