Brian Leetch grew up in my hometown - it's a small town in Central Connecticut. A little known fact about him is that while still in High School he and Brad Ausmus were the pitcher/catcher battery when the team won a state championship.
When the Rangers won the Stanley Cup, Brian arranged to bring it home and placed at the High School and held an 'open house' so anyone who wanted to see and/or touch it could do so, and of course also visit with him.
That's Brian, who feels that his brother, a West Point grad now serving abroad and his sister, a policewoman, have jobs that are much more important than his.
