1050 ESPN made it official this Wednesday: Brandon Tierney is the new 10 a.m. to noon man, in advance of two hours of Colin Cowherd's national show.
(Uh, oh. Colin and bloggers not playing nicely again!)
SNY is close to announcing its new studio team for Mets games, but I'd advise betting the house on Chris Carlin and Bob Ojeda, as I attended their rehearsal today at SNY's studios.

weren't you the one who told us the new SNY Mets studio team a few months ago? they were spotted at the game in Port St. Lucie over the weekend.
Carlin, eh? is there time to bring back Matt Yalloff?
It's really strange how much of a push they are given Carlin.
Don't have anything against the guy, but lets be honest he does not have a face or a voice for TV, and he really doesn't possess this great knowledge or charisma, so why the lovefest with him.
Yalloff was fine and I don't see Carlin offering anything better.
That was the problem though....Yallof was fine. I dont blame them for trying something new. and Mazz didnt bring anything to the table
Yallof wasn't great but not terrible. He was a fan and not a blabber-mouth a la Carlin who brought that to Giants pre-game and post-game. I am personally sick of the '86 Mets on the program. Is Todd Ziele, Ventura, or even a Rick Peterson a stretch?
