Mark Sanchez has many more Twitter followers than me
When I started writing my Tuesday column on Mark Sanchez' potential off-the-field impact on the Jets, he had 8,062 followers on Twitter.
Nineteen or so hours later, he is up to 9,033, and has added an observation about throwing out the first pitch at Citi Field: "Mets fans were awesome!"
In the column I mention that later this week the Jets will begin making non-club PSL seats and non-PSL seats available to current season ticket holders.
The non-PSL seats will require a $500 deposit, nearly 1 1/2 years before the first game is played in the new Giants/Jets stadium. What's that for?
Executive VP Matt Higgins said the idea only is to make sure fans who sign up for seats intend to follow through with the process, much like the early payments on seats that come with PSLs.
"It's important to know that if you reserve those seats you're serious about them," he said.

Neil, that is a 16mo, 13 or 14m interest free loan from fans to the club. That is all, nothing about who is serious re seats. Just another clip job, don't accept the corporate line, it is all lies.
Did Higgins at least have the decency to take off the ski mask and hide the laundry bag with the '$' sign on it before he made that quote?
