U.S. Open live streams a huge hit on NBC's Web site
NBCSports.com hit a high of 240,000 simultaneous video users during Monday's live streaming of the final round of the U.S. Open, compared to 70,000 during last year's Monday playoff between Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate.
A total of 1.6 million video streams were consumed during the day.
Put another way: Yet another day of massive goofing off in America's workplaces.
TV ratings were down from last year, though. Awaiting final numbers.
